DirecTV is a direct broadcast satellite (DBS) service based in El Segundo, California, USA, that was founded in 1990. They transmit digital satellite TV and audio to houses in the US, the Caribbean and Latin America. At this time, they don’t have a service for Mexico.
DirecTV also offers these local channels: CBS, ABC, NBC, Fox, PBS, The CW, MyNetworkTV, ION Television (in markets that carry the network). They also air some independent stations for many markets.
